1. What information we collect
Account and sign-in information
If you create an account or sign in, we may collect your email address, display name, sign-in provider, and account status information such as whether your email is verified. If you choose Apple or Google sign-in, we receive the account details those providers send for login.
Preferences and profile data
DeeDoo stores settings and profile data such as your selected language, content-and-game split preset, active mini-game, selected content source, mute state, and progress tied to gameplay and recommendations.
Recommendation and content data
We store content metadata and recommendation records so DeeDoo can load the right items, keep ordering consistent, and remember where you left off.
Notification and device data
If you allow notifications, we may store a push token, device platform, and locale so we can deliver product messages you have chosen to receive.
Diagnostics, security, and support
We collect crash, error, delivery, and security diagnostics to keep DeeDoo working and to investigate problems. If you contact us at contact@deedoo.shop, we also receive the information you choose to include in that message.
2. How we collect information
- Directly from you when you sign up, sign in, change settings, request a password reset, verify your email, enable notifications, or contact us.
- Automatically from your device and the app when preferences are saved, a push token is registered, an error occurs, or a backend request is made.
- From the sign-in and media providers you choose to use through DeeDoo.
3. Why we use information
- To create, authenticate, and secure accounts.
- To remember your settings and keep the split-screen experience personalized.
- To deliver recommended content and keep your game/profile state in sync.
- To send account emails such as verification and password reset messages.
- To send push notifications if you choose to enable them.
- To diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
4. Embedded media and external content
DeeDoo can show content from DeeDoo-managed sources and from external media providers. When an external media provider is used inside DeeDoo, that provider may collect playback, device, or interaction data under its own terms and privacy practices.
5. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies
DeeDoo web pages are not built around ad-tech or a separate marketing analytics cookie system. The app does store local preferences on your device so it can remember how you use DeeDoo.
Some third-party services used by DeeDoo may use cookies, browser storage, or comparable device storage to make account or media features work.
6. Communications
DeeDoo sends account-related emails such as verification and password reset messages. DeeDoo can also request push notification permission and register device tokens for product updates or reminders if you opt in.
DeeDoo does not currently run a public newsletter or payment-related messaging flow.
7. How we share information
We share information with service providers only when needed to operate DeeDoo. That includes providers for:
- account authentication and account recovery
- cloud storage, database, and backend infrastructure
- transactional email delivery
- error and crash monitoring
- embedded media delivery when you choose that mode
8. Retention
We keep data for as long as it is reasonably needed to run, secure, support, and improve DeeDoo. Local device preferences remain on your device until you change them, clear app data, or remove the app.
9. Your choices and rights
- You can sign out at any time.
- You can request a password reset from the login screen.
- You can change language, pane split, selected game, and content source inside the app.
- You can decline push permission or disable notifications in iOS settings.
- You can contact contact@deedoo.shop if you need help with access, correction, or deletion requests.
10. Children's privacy
DeeDoo is not currently designed or marketed as a product for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to DeeDoo, contact us at contact@deedoo.shop.
11. Security
DeeDoo uses HTTPS, authenticated backend calls, access controls, and infrastructure protections designed to reduce risk. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. International transfers
DeeDoo uses cloud providers and infrastructure that may process or store data in the United States and other countries. By using DeeDoo, you understand that your information may be processed outside your home jurisdiction.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the product changes. If we add material new data uses such as analytics, payments, advertising, or materially broader data sharing, we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date.
